I was sitting with someone and holding Isabel, when all of a sudden this person says, "I'm just picking the corn on my foot." I look over and sure enough, her shoe is off and she is picking at her big toe. I was honestly speechless. Even now thinking about it I can only shake my head. What in the world... No matter what your age or where you are at, that is not appropriate.
So it made me think, what else grosses me out? ;) I remember sitting in church as a kid and hearing nail clippers as some lady chose to clip her fingernails during the sermon. What?! When I was older one of the things I volunteered to do at church was help keep it clean. I was vacuuming after a Sunday service between the aisles and I found nail clippings! That darn lady is still clipping her nails in my church. That's gross people!
Ahhh yes, Paul and I were driving through the little town I grew up in about a month ago. I'm looking around me checking out the different houses seeing if anything has changed. I look up to see two men working on the roof of this house and one man had his back to me..or should I say, his crack, and it was almost the full moon. Eek, I'm embarrassed for him, the man needs a belt.
Just one last thing, when I was a little girl I remember going to an amusement park and having to use the restroom. Dozens of women are going in and out while I waited in line and the number of ladies that didn't wash their hands was astronomical. Then I think about being in church and I remember washing my hands in the only sink in our little two stall bathroom and the woman in the other stall comes out and walks out the door. Ewwww!! Now Pastor is going to have everyone shake hands with the person behind you and your dirty hand is waiting to shake mine.
So for everyone who reads this, please help us all out... Don't be gross. Just think about how you would feel if the person sitting next to you was picking at the corn on their toe.
